Who is Gundala?

Gundala is the alter ego of Sancaka, an orphan who grew up amidst poverty. Sancaka’s life changed drastically when he was hit by lightning while trying to save a girl from robbers. The lightning grants him superhuman abilities, including incredible physical strength, increased speed, and the ability to generate lightning as a weapon. Wearing a yellow and black costume, Gundala becomes the protector of the city and fights crime.

One of the factors that makes Gundala popular is because it represents a strong spirit of heroism and justice.
